I didn’t understand the difference in sizing for a waist belt vs. a hip belt, of which i have one from this company. The wide heavy waist belts look glorious online, and I purchased 2, but this one was too small to even buckle for me. Not a good choice for me.
This one runs considerably smaller than the other style I tried. I’d advise sizing up on this style if you decide you want it. But maybe it’s just me, and I messed up the sizing choice. Still, the other style I tried, which has a large heavy buckle, can at least be buckled, but with heavy leather and a heavy buckle, it’s too weighty for me to wear comfortably.
Apart from the disappointing fit, the return and exchange policy from B-low the Belt has been very disappointing, and makes it difficult to escape from a bad purchase made whole with your money back. If I can emerge from this transaction without losing too much money, I will try never to purchase directly from this company again. Retailers like Nordstrom may not have the full srlection, but they do not blink at refunding your money when a purchase doesn’t work out. I decided I wanted to exchange for a hip belt or two, but I don’t like the 1.5” wide models, which seem to make up the majority of the available belts, or the big heavy plaque-style cowboy-type belts, of which there are also many in the collection. It’s not leaving much for me to work with. The 1 to 1.4” wide belts, which I prefer are really picked over, leaving fee in the colors I prefer to wear. No, not a happy camper here.
